Hi, everyone. And welcome to our blog. Where we over-analyze everything about our sex lives.

A little about us. First, and perhaps most importantly, we’re friends and we both have PhDs, which explains a lot about a lot.  We also have a wanton disregard for the rules of grammar.

Sloan is over 40, but still smoking hot. She’s been married and then not married. She’s been in long-term relationships and short-term relationships and one-night stands. She’s obsessed with her PhD subject, running, and men, probably in that order. She spends a lot of her free time sporgulating, which she mostly regrets. She’s working on sporgulating less.  Sloan lives in New York City. And goes out. A lot. She juggles. She’s exhausted. She needs a night of Netflix soon.

Viv is in her mid-30’s, in the process of getting a divorce from her first partner, and “practice dating” for the day when she has the energy to invest in a relationship again.  This means she is having too many first dates and a lot of sex, with varying degrees of success in both.  She travels often for work and loves her career more than she loves you.  She lives for friends and family, and doesn’t think this statement contradicts the previous statement about career.  Viv is determined to prove you can have it all if you are willing to get creative with what is meant by “all”.  It is also very likely that she is too fond of beer, whiskey, and enthusiastic company, but don’t try and point that out to her.  She is currently in the process of relocating from a large West Coast city to a much smaller East Coast city.
